What’s been happening:

After 35 years of teaching Special Education students I have joined the ranks of the happily retired with my wife Cathy (retired from Verizon). By the grace of God, she survived a double bleeding aneurysm of the brain...without any paralysis. We now enjoy both of our PSU alumni children and their mates living within 15 minutes of us and we are especially fond of our first granddaughter, Julia Sophia, who happens to be the brightest and cutest baby ever. Growing in our personal relationship with our Lord and Savior is the greatest blessing in our lives AND HE LED US TO PENN STATE...THE BEST UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD! I love what PSU stands for in my experience. To me PSU has risen above the politics of mediocre preparation to insisting upon excellence in everything it does. This is one reason why we are leaving tens and possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars to this fine institution in our will. May God continue to bless Penn State and may continue to challenge the future generations to excellence.
